Acting categories were a bit underwhelming (especially as I'm as far as possible from hopping in The Nightingale bandwagon ), and even thought I'm not exactly surprised by it, it's unfortunate that Little Women and Marriage Story got nothing. But I love the Parasite sweep!

Surprised that everyone felt The Lighthouse for Cinematography was an upset? I feel like that one was overwhelmingly the choice; I think it was just during predictions for Oscars that everyone predicted 1917. Very deserving win by the way. That Aisling Franciosi win was incredibly shocking though and while it absolutely should have been Lupita Nyong'o, I'll gladly take that win too. Also I'd place Dafoe supporting, but he's certainly a worthy winner in either category. Sexiest win was easily John Wick 3 for Choreography though. That's some decade-great level stuff there and I was worried I might be in the minority on that. Also don't see what everyone sees in 1917, especially the score which felt like only a slightly better version of what Newman's been coasting with for the past decade, but it's not a bad score so I suppose I can't complain. I'm glad Joker walked away with no AMARAs! All in all, not too shabby results! Thanks for running this DeepArcher, @redhawk10, & Viced!

Soundtrack -- obvious, but hoping for Waves POTY -- Perfect. Animated -- Boring win in a great year for Animation, not bad just lame. Doc -- Perfect. Foreign Film -- . Song -- great nominnes, lovely win. Score -- best of the Noms, too bad Powell couldn't sneak in. Sounds -- thought Gems would take Mixing, but solid double win nonetheless. Editing -- Thelma is tops here, but obviously can't complain. VFX -- Perfect. choreography -- probably between this and 1917 and the right film won. Makeup & Hair -- boring lineup in a great year for the category, best of the nominees won Costume -- good Production -- easily the best of the nominees Cinematography -- bit of a shocker to me and a bit of a shocker that everyone thought that Deak was frontrunner. I had Mathon pegged as the easy winner. The Lighthouse is wonderful in this right though. Adapted Screenplay -- Perfect Original Screenplay -- Perfect Ensemble -- Wonderful, expected Acting -- Cho is superb love the win // Pesci is perfect // Franciosi is wonderful my #7 in a fantastic year for leading ladies, Haenel is the best performance of the year however so i can't help but feel slightly disappointed // Dafoe is fantastic, but Sandler is the second best performance of the year, surprise of the awards, thought Sandman would run away with it. Director & BP // Expected and lovely, my #4 of the year in both. overall great groups of winners. Toy Story 4 and OUATIH for Costumes are my least favorite winners, but they are both still solid. well done MAr. 7 of the winners were my personal winners! Too bad Portrait couldn't snag anything. DeepArcher @redhawk10 Viced you guys rule
