Florence was me. I haven't listened to Bon Iver, but I enjoyed his work on Anais Mitchell's Hadestown (FYC for the next presentation btw), so I'll check that one out. well I'm glad I'm not the only one here who's heard Anais Mitchell but I prefer Young Man in America with its gently flowing ballads. Never been too keen on conceptual albums of any genre. Too specific, niche. Hadestown had some interesting sounds but it wasn't something I could listen to regularly. You must listen to Bon Iver though. Start with the 2011 self-titled, it's gorgeous

Surprised that Kid A wasn't #1. Glad that both The Mantle and Ashes Against the Grain made it. Otherwise a lot of my high placed picks didn't really make it, which isn't that surprising considering there were a lot metal on my list. Songs for the Deaf I would have expected to be on there somewhere, though.
