The Wolf of Wall Street and Gangs of New York. Silence runs a close third and is a more consistently good film than Gangs, but Gangs hits much higher heights for me.

Have yet to see Silence, so I only voted for The Wolf of Wall Street which I think is Scorsese's 2nd best film, period.

Voted for Gangs and Wolf. Both are in my Top 50 of all time. Would be tough to rank after that tho, except Hugo would be dead last.

1.The Departed (2006) 2.The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) 3.The Aviator (2004) 4.Hugo (2011) 5.Gangs of New York (2002) 6.Shutter Island (2010) 7.Silence (2016)
Except Silence all are great. His 21st century output is on par with his earlier work

I think The Departed has been the best, but that Gangs of New York is severely underrated, right up with the best stuff he's ever made and the two of these films are a mile better than the remainder of his 21st century output.

I haven't seen all his films of the 2000's-2010's, but here goes my thoughts for the ones I have seen (and this is a snarky and pretentious version of my thoughts):
Made for Intellectuals: - Silence (2016) [9.0]
Made for Teenagers (context) but Mature Adults are Given Something to Swallow (subtext): - The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) [8.0]
Made for Teenagers: - The Departed (2006) [7.0] - Shutter Island (2010) [7.0]
Made for People That Watch American Oscar Noms to Feel Classy and Smart: - The Aviator (2004) [5.5]
Made for the Family and People Who Like to Pretend Anything Scorsese is Gold: - Hugo (2011) [5.0]

Haven't seen Silence, but I went with The Departed and Shutter Island. Pretty much the only Scorsese movies I like, outside of Kundun.

Gangs of New York, which is his best film overall.
Honorable Mentions for Hugo and Departed

Departed is solid stuff, nothing else stands out Bruh tbh I dunno about that bruh I'd say it's probably his most disposable movie of the century, except for maybe Hugo. I mean it's completely fine but it's got very little going for it, doesn't have any of the ambition of something like Silence or Wolf of Wall Street, or even Gangs of NY. Have you seen Silence yet?
