And yet with all that love they still didn’t vote for them at the Oscars. Interesting

This isn't directed at you, but I get really annoyed when people keep emphasizing of how great the response is at things like this for Parasite, only for it to lose. You were saying? I'm happy to be wrong.

Literally jumped out of my seat when Parasite won. Amazing. Guess this is down to PGA/DGA/ASC winner 1917 vs. SAG/WGA/ACE winner Parasite!

I’ll be happy as long as Hollywood and Joker don’t win. Come at me!

Great winner nonetheless.
Definitely seems like a 1917 vs Parasite duel right now. I'm blaming Pacino for Hollywood and Irishman both flopping.

THE IRISHMAN was ROBBED!! Truly one of the greatest ensembles of the decade. I'm sure it won't be the last robbery of the awards season. 😢😠
Phoenix winning will be the SOLE source of joy on Oscar night, it seems. That and maybe Tarantino winning his 3rd. FUCK THIS AWARDS SEASON!! 🖕
Bless its newfound shortness, though. #siiiiigh

super happy for Parasite, especially since the actors individually were iced out of all the precursors I'm still positive 1917 wins, but we now know for sure that OUATIH is officially done. It's still losing script at the Oscars. I think it's an AMAZING script, even better than OUATIH, but I'll be happy when Tarantino beats it...for obvious reasons. 😈

Better than Mendes, I guess. 🤷♂️

We're really getting the same 4 winners everywhere, huh? Can Ronan at least upset at BAFTA? I feel your pain but looks like Zelly will win the BAFTA too , especially since she has already won the British Independant Film Award.

Does that really changes anything? That was expected. Yes. I don't think it officially changes the new front-runner, 1917, but it does create a new challenger and discards the original one.

Shit shit shit, 1917 wins BP Tell me about it. 😔 Guess, by default, I'm #TeamParasite now?? It's a distant 3rd for me this year, but it's still a GREAT film, and if it wins, it will be the best BP winner of the decade BY A MILE.

The idea (not so much of an idea now I guess) of both Zellwegger and 1917 winning big is kind of depressing

Does that really changes anything? That was expected. Was it? It was always seen as a possibility given that getting the nomination in the first place was the hardest hurdle to clear, but the question remained as to whether it would have widespread support with AFTRA members. The vast majority was betting on the English-language box-office hit starring DiCaprio, Pitt and Robbie about Hollywood in the 60s, and for good reason. 1917 winning the only guild prize that also goes by preferential ballot and Parasite becoming the first foreign language title to win SAG is very much a drastic shakeup in the race, especially given that OUATIH was widely seen as the favorite to take both.

Wow, that was a GREAT awards show for me. Joaquin's speech was genuinely one of the classiest I've ever heard (I LOVE it when winners spend most of their time talking about their fellow nominees, Michael Caine-style) and the Heath Ledger shout-out was absolutely beautiful.
And OH MY GOD PARASITE!!!!!!!!!! If Bong can pull out a victory at DGA I won't even care that hollow 1917 takes the top prize on Oscar night.
