So Once vs 1917 vs Parasite? I thought Irishman had this. These awards are literally worthless. I wouldn't draw any conclusion whatsoever from what happened here.

I'm surprised that people even bothered to attend this.

Man these were even worse than usual with the giving of two awards at the same time yet they had plenty of time for that stupid trivia segment where they forgot Saving Private Ryan didn’t win Best Picture, and then the inevitable tie so they can be sure they predicted the Oscar winner.
At least the television side is still nice even if some of the wins were predictable, and some of the winners had to share their spotlight with another winner.

I'm surprised that people even bothered to attend this. I'm beginning to think they get paid for showing up cause I don't get it. I seriously don't. How did this event go from nothing to all the stars showing up? How??????

How did this event go from nothing to all the stars showing up? How?????? That was odd that so many stars showed up this year; although at least Brad and Leo had the right idea. I guess Joaquin left early too. I wonder if that’s why they did Best Actor so freaking early which everyone on Twitter thought was weird as hell because Phoenix would only stay for a short amount of time.

You can't have Joaquin sitting there for two hours then give him an award. We are talking grumpy city. Ha ha. You are giving him too much time to dwell on the fact that there is no best.

God were these awards snooze-worthy. Everything was so predictable, and they made so many mistakes. Not even sure why I bothered looking at them. Their tie situation is boring me to death. Ugh.

(Sorry for deleting my post. It was a bit out of the blue). It's like they have a genuine winner, and then they decide to give it to what they think will be popular, and take home the big prize. It's super duper annoying.

A community theater ran by crackheads could put on a better production than this.

LOL, 1917 won Best Editing Pacinoyes must be somewhere throwing up that's why he haven't heard from him on this topic yet. Yeah its absurd - they seem to really want to give it BP too - or at least contend for it - so we'll see how it plays out - the film doesn't deserve an editing nod to me but then again I'm not as high on it as many are anyway (7.5+/10) in several ways either. That and Zaillian losing screenplay to Gerwig (which likely happens at the Oscars too I guess?) were the most "oh wtf" pacinoyes moments of the night for me.......

This group of clowns shouldn't be allowed to televise their Oscar predictions.
