J-Lo, aka Jenny from the Block. The acting bar has been set so low when it comes to her. What's considered "good" for her - is considered mediocre for any real actress. And she is basically playing a version of herself. Thank you for conveying my thoughts.

Except it isn't though - you don't want the actor looking like he did when HE was young - Travis Bickle or whomever - that isn't the point, you want them looking like Frank Sheeran as played by this actor now but age appropriate via the effects. Your de-aging relative to Frank.......not to Robert. Hell, he barely looks human at times, to say nothing of the Dune-spice glow of his eyes. Man, I really liked the movie and I'm still so laughing hard at this description.

I feel resentful saying this even though I loved this performance, but I wont mind Leo missing. His character looks pure vanity project. He's no relevance to the story. I mean his relevance is Supporting while Brad's Clif is central to the actual story. If it was less vanity-prohect kinda actor I seen no reason they would have expanded his stuff the way they did, unrelated to the main premise... They would have rightfully focused on Sharon Tate for us to feel the emotional impact of the alternate ending even more. Instead, they dragged his character out just to keep him in the spotlight, even if all those scenes were fun and his perf was great. It should have been Brad Pitt for Best Actor as per the demand of the story, that's my feeling. For these reasons alone, I won't mind him missing though he'd def deserve his spot perf quality wise.
