Has not been my favorite decade. Possibly my least favorite along with the 30s and 40s - but I'd even say the 40s has higher highs though not as much depth. There aren't that many all-time great films, but there are a bunch of pretty great films I can name. Hasn't been bad for acting, and some years are actually quite good and is on par with the 00s (2013, 2014). Some years (2010 and 2016) are on the cusp - just maybe needing a few more in the top end.
But the rest are merely decent. Some years there's a bit of a close tie (2011, 2014). And some years (2013, 2016, 2017, and 2018) there's a clear #1.
