1. Blanchett 2. Davis 3. Kidman
In terms of talent, Kidman is a lesser Blanchett to me and Davis is arguably superior to Blanchett even - she's triumphed in heavy drama, wild comedy - literally everything - she did it first too, she had an 80s that stands in the league of the best in world cinema in that decade: Streep, Huppert, Depardieu, Irons.
All 3 do theater and TV well too (Blanchett will have a big 2020 in TV I'm guessing) - quite a trio they are.

1 Kidman-- I think the most remarkable talent Australia has ever produced when it comes to screen acting, male or female. She's almost as prolific as the likes of Samuel L Jackson, but never phones it in. She's always finding new facets to explore. It's a fascinating evolution. Also an excellent stage performer.
2 Blanchett--- Very talented, but less so than Kidman, imho. She's got a very specific bag of tricks that she's almost used up at this point. A commanding screen actress, but not as flexible as Kidman and more prone to broadstrokes caricature. Her commitment to stage however sets her apart and deserves respect.
3 Davis--- The forerunner. There would be no Kidman or Blanchett without her example. Lacked the charisma of either and could often be shrill and OTT, but at her focused best, could go to toe with anyone. A talented stage performer, but did it less at the highest level internationally than Kidman or Blanchett.

Kidman, Blanchett and Davis (in that order) are in a league of their own. Collette is really good too. Robbie is fine.

Watts would be my #1 if you'd view her as an Australian.
From the others listed here it's Blanchett. Kidman probably second thanks to her last ten years.
Really looking forward to see more of Wasikowska though.
