Movies, literature, music.
For me it's - Music > Film > Literature
Music is just one of the most incredible things in life. No words for it. I (obviously) have a great passion for cinema (which is the closest art form to music - can't remember if I heard someone say this before or if I just made it up, but it's definitely how I feel either way), and that beats out my love for literature.

Music....Film.......Literature.
As anybody who knows my posting history knows, I post songs all the time - it's the most palatable form of Art, particularly pop-Art - I can literally spend a whole day thinking about or (God forbid) talking about "Here Comes A Regular" or "Twenty Four Hours" and those songs are under 5 minutes and there's millions of them - far more mental energy goes into them than the time they take to consume.
Literature was something I did very much (too much) when I was younger, I just turned 253 btw, and I do not find the act of reading - reading anything at all - like say the posts on here about fncking "Cats" - pleasurable in any way tbh. My attention span got less as time moved on - I literally have to force myself to read to keep my mind sharp maybe or out of some perverse sort of intellectual guilt.

I think music > film > literature.
Really tough choice between music and film but literature is a definite 3rd.

Literature Film
Music
I'm pretty much equally interested in Literature and Film actually and spent about equal time with both of them, probably even watching more films. Also because it's much easier to do. It changes and depends on my mood, which I prefer at a given time, but even the best films can't be as good as the best books. So I'd call Literature the most important for me. Music, while obviously it's beautiful in it's own and a world without music would be sad, is a distant third. I actually like and use it most "companion" to other things - as in films...

1. Movies 2. Music 3. Literature
This is of course only in terms of personal preference.

If I had to say, it would also be Music > Film > Literature for me. They're all indispensable from my life and all mean the world to me, but that'd be my ranking in terms of what would be the hardest to live without. And it's interesting because literature is certainly very important to who I am and I probably read more than just about anyone I know irl, and it's also the only of the three that I have any experience in creating myself, but I feel that if I absolutely had to choose one of the three to cut from my life, it'd be that one. And music is certainly the one of the three that I know the absolute least about, at least from a formal standpoint, but it's just such a constant presence in my life on a daily basis in a way that even film is not and I get so much out of it emotionally that I literally couldn't imagine living without music.

Film, Literature, Music.
It's a tough one because I probably listen to way more individual songs than I watch movies or read anything, but that is easy considering the time it takes. While feelings wise the amount a good song can conjure up in its incomparable length to a movie or a book is amazing, I'm not sure there is any song (or album) that gives me the feeling of satisfaction or makes me think and mull over it quite as much or for quite as long as a good movie or a book does.
I love them all.

I guess film, literature, and then music. Music is a bit of an odd comparison here though, theater would go better with movies and novels.

I'm a language whore so I need the pleasure of words on a daily basis. Doesn't have to be high literature or anything. An essay, a movie review... anything that hits the sweet spot will do. A day without jazz or Cuban music is a sad day. Movies are odd because I love them so much yet I need to get as far away from them as possible sometimes. I've gone months without watching a single movie and I survived just fine... but I always come back. So they might come 1st or 3rd, I don't know. This is an evil question...

1. Film - easily my favorite.
2. Literature - I love it, but often don't have the patience for it.
3. Music - never been super enthusiastic about it. There are some songs/artists I love, but I mostly just see it as something to turn on in the background while doing something else.

1. Music 2. Film 3. Literature
I love all three. The only reason I put music first is that it doesn't take as much commitment as film. You can basically listen to music almost anywhere. And I ranked literature last simply because I haven't read a novel in nearly two years. The only books I'm reading nowadays are about psychology and geopolitics.

This subject came up last night and my friend brought up this stat - which blew my mind - and not in a good way.......fncking depressing.....and it also kind of means you can't really trust anyone over 33........ or in my case over 233 When you reach 33 years or older, you will stop discovering new music, according to a new online study. New research, based on U.S. Spotify users, concludes that 33 is the average age when people stop listening to new music.May 12, 2015

Film > Literature > Music
Film is definitely #1, but as I've gotten more into reading in the last couple years literature isn't too far behind.
Music is a distant third. I am such a pleb when it comes to music... I pretty much only listen to it as background noise.
