I think it will be higher once the final figures come. I'm thinking 175+ It will be big but bigger than Beauty and the Beast? that depends. Of course it'll be bigger! I think of all the 90s Disney classics, "The Lion King" is definitely the most popular one among the folks. When "Beauty and the Beast" was re-released in 3D, it made $47 mil. When "The Lion King" was, it made $94 mil. Not to mention the initial box office results. And the other telling stuff, like the number of votes on IMDb ("TLK" has twice as much).

I know it is twice as popular and big when it comes to numbers but a live action adaptation of The Lion King means no real people. Everything will be CGI. The Jungle Book came early and took that as a novel point. How different it will be when The Lion King comes. They're different stories I know but they should've made TLK first.
