I did this back in 2016 and 2017 but ended up skipping it last year because unlike horror, Christmas films are not as expansive a genre. Still, I was able to find at least twelve this go around so I hope you guys enjoy!
12 Days of Christmas: Some Alternative Christmas Films to Get You in the Holiday Spirit.

I watched this only because of the cast, after having seen Vertigo for the first time.
Knowing that the two leads had a contract obligation to make another movie together, I didn't expect much but I ended up really enjoying that movie!!
I'm a fan of Christmas films anyway, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Maybe I should have a re-watch...

I was reading trivia about the film and Novak said she loved working with Stewart, but this was his last film as a romantic lead because he thought he was too old for such roles. I think they're really lovely together.

I rewatched It's a Wonderful Life on the big screen last night and his chemistry with Donna Reed is .

John Doe is a lot of fun, with a brilliant premise that is hard to screw up. And Capra isn't known for screwing things up.

Also, Brigitte Fossey plays the mom which is super cool! Can't believe this one escaped me for so long.

Thanks for reading! Not sure if I'll do this next year as I'm really scraping the barrel now. Time will tell. Happy holidays, everyone!
