RIP. Mattsby was a big fan I know....... A distinct actor in look and performances. Despite all his his successes in many roles - including McCabe & Mrs. Miller - I will always think of him first from the "Camera Obscura" episode of Night Gallery, a personal fave of mine.  |

RIP  I did a write-up on him over in the Underappreciated actors thread if anyone wants to check that out. Losing him and Rutger Hauer this year is tough - they're the kinda actors I'd write roles for if I was making a movie. Rene got this lifetime award last month, someone made a great collection of his roles.....  |
