Anything would be better than Beyond. That shit was terrible.
90% of the thing didn't even take place in space! AND THERE WAS A MOTORCYCLE CHASE SCENE! Like the ghost of Steve McQueen demanded in his contract.

If this happens, which I predict it won’t, it seems has potential to be The Last Jedi for Star Trek fans, which just doesn’t sound fun for anybody.

I would imagine that after Joker, Paramount would be even more inclined to push for the Tarantino stand-alone Trek film.
Not sure what kind of a Trek film one could expect from Hawley, but at least we're getting one.
