That's decent for Ford. Hopefully it does well enough, because the box office needs it. Angels numbers on the other hand, oof, are really bad, it could go sub 10m at this rate.

Charlie's Angels 900 K... Ouch!! But tbh I didn't expect anything better... The numbers are even more embarrassing, when you consider they also include "girl night out showings" on Wednesday.

The reviews for Charlie's Angel's were fairly good(some were great). It's kind of inexplicable how badly it's doing.

The reviews for Charlie's Angel's were fairly good(some were great). It's kind of inexplicable how badly it's doing. Reviews are fine, but fine reviews aren't enough to help a movie. Also Sony kinda screwed the pooch as far as marketing went, they didn't really try to build a lot of buzz. In fact sometimes it felt like the trailers were trying to sell the soundtrack more then the film itself. The whole film was just poorly handled in general.

The reviews for Charlie's Angel's were fairly good(some were great). It's kind of inexplicable how badly it's doing. Well, it's got a 51 on Metacritic so I dunno if I'd call them good... I think they just truly failed to capture audiences' interest with their trailers. Nothing about it looked exciting or spectacular or really worth going to the theatre. Those McG movies not only had an excellent main trio but also promised their audiences some spectacular action setpieces and plenty of jokes. Now, the quality of the above is up to debate but those movies at least had all that stuff. The trailers for the new one didn't provide much excitement or humor so I guess people didn't really see any reason to go out and watch it.

Haven't seen "Ford v. Ferrari" yet but I'm extremely happy that it seems to be starting out well. Film twitter likes to negatively refer to this type of films as 'dad movies' but I'm a big friggin fan of those so yay for dad movies and all the more power to them!

Good for Ford v. Ferrari. The film needs that considering it has a $100 million price tag.

Quite solid for Ford Vs. Ferrari. WOM is supposed to be really strong with the people who've seen it, so I definitely can see it having a nice leggy run. It seems like every November franchise film not named Frozen II is bombing. Gives me hope for a Knives Out breakout.

It actually surprisingly had some pretty decent legs, I'm guessing due to the lack of big family competition. It might make over 500m worldwide now, meaning it wouldn't be much of a write-up for Disney. It's not in the top ten, but Zombieland 2 has been holding quite decently too. I think Harriet might be able to make 50m, although it'll probably fall short.

FvF exceeds expectations. Hopefully Fox (and Disney) takes notes of this and makes more original films with decent budgets targeting adult audience.

The person who greenlight CA with Stewart as the draw needs to be fired. I can't believe a movie about Harriet Tubman will probably make more money then both Doctor Sleep and CA.

Saw the trailer before Ford v Ferrari. When the letters of the title were coming up one by one I yelled "I'D LIKE TO BUY A VOWEL" and got a big laugh.
