Yeah, turns out that's just the template that cinema uses. Will have to wait and see what it actually ends up being.

Regardless of that runtime being fake I don't expect this to be that long despite PTA's penchant for long movies. This is does not look like a 2 1/2 hour epic like TWBB or The Master. This kind of light romance often clocks in at around 100 minutes anyway.

I mean Punch-Drunk Love was 95 mins, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the actual runtime (the trailer actually gives me PDL vibes more than anything else).

Word on the street is PTA is taking a DP credit for this, unlike Phantom Thread.

* co-DP with Michael Bauman, but yeah seems like he's changed his tune a little bit on not wanting to call himself a cinematographer lol

Here ya go JangoB Some nice stuff in here about the Anderson/Haim/Hoffman connections, so cool that they're all so close. This movie's gonna be special.

Well that explains why the leads look comfortable around each other.

LOL, this is exactly what their chemistry is like in the trailer. There was one moment in the trailer where you could tell these two were familiar with each other. It's the moment where they are running and they are laughing.

I could see Penn getting a comeback nomination, but I think it might be more likely that this is a rare PTA that doesn’t get any acting nominations. Licorice Pizza FYC

No Jonny Greenwood FYC, not sure if it was ever posted here but he tweeted - then deleted - that while he did write a couple cues for it, the score is mostly needle-drops.

Alana Haim is a stealth Best Actress contender in my opinion. I can totally see her winning NYFCC.

Nice poster. Hmm, so I'm trying to figure out the story, so based on the poster, it almost seems like a story where she has him eating out of her hands and then the script gets flip and he breaks her heart. He turns out to be a complete asshole.

Loooovely poster. Curious that the release date is Dec 25 (previously announced as the wide release date) and not Nov 26 (previously announced as the limited release date). Hoping this doesn't mean it's getting pushed back?
