Any fans of this show here?
I've watched the 1st episode of season 10. Felt odd for a bit to watch this show without Emmy Rossum but they neatly transitioned it. Not really happy with Debbie being the replacement to Fiona as the in charge.

Jesus they're still making this show?
First four seasons were pretty excellent and it peaked with the fourth -- fifth was near-unwatchable and that's where I stopped. Can't believe they're still milking this.

Can't believe they're still milking this. You were right that it peaked with fourth season but the later seasons aren't that bad. Just repetitive is all but the main issue i have is they haven't given Emmy Rossum much to do and her part has become boring. May be that's why she left.

An alright-y season but the last two episodes were great. Gallavich are really the show's highlight. Nice to see some tears from Frank's eyes. Really rooting for Lip and Tami to stay together. Hopefully Fiona comes back for the final season.

Just came to see if there was a thread on this. The writing has been a hot mess for several seasons now, but I keep coming back for the characters. The finale was a legitimately really good episode though, first in a lonnnnng time.

Well that ended. 11 seasons of Shameless.
Could've done better with the finale but i liked seeing Frank going on a high, quite literally. This episode really needed Fiona and i still can't believe she wasn't there. At least a phone call would've been nice. I like that Ian and Carl storylines got some closure but the rest are still very open ended.
For me Shameless lost its steam way before Emmy Rossum left but i kept watching coz some of these characters are damn watchable but the writers did a piss poor job especially with the last few seasons. Anyway bub-bye Gallaghers.

Anyway bub-bye Gallaghers. At least could have had that nurse calling her since she was listed as next of kin or something... didn't even need to have Rossum appear, but at least a mention. Especially weird that she wasn't in the letter monologue... and yet they spliced in those flashbacks. Very poorly handled -- as the show has been for years. Frank going out from Covid. Okay then. Gosh, those flashbacks were some great memories to when this show was good. With that said, what an ensemble and I'm going to miss some of these characters.
