Who gets your pick. I puts between Walken and Newman for me but I give the edge to Walken. One of his absolute best and moving performances.

Walken for me but all 5 were amazing.

One of my all-time favorite cinematic farewells (yes, I know he did voiceover work in Cars, but I'm referring to on-screen work), and the sheer melancholy he exudes throughout the film can only come from a long-standing vet who got better as he aged, and reached his peak in 2002.

Bummed that Dennis Quaid didn't manage a nomination for Far from Heaven... I prefer his to all of these performances save Cooper's. Andy Serkis would have made an inspired choice as well for The Two Towers.

It's a fantastic line-up (except for Reilly, who's fine, but not close to the others). However Newman is comfortably ahead of the others.
