This is 10 famous performances that all missed a nod in the 70s - so by picking "Worst Snub" you'd be picking the performance that to you is best or your favorite at least. Not concerned with categories here.......

Strong list. I'm going with Hackman.

Voted Beatty but I think De Niro in Mean Streets may be the most brilliant out of these.

McDowell and Hackman, mostly because the others were enough rewarded in other moments.

McDowell not getting nodded was ridiculous. Sheen and Brando in Apocalypse Now is also pretty bad.

Love all of these -- picked De Niro bc that perf is beyond brilliant and most days I consider it the #1 Supp perf ever. But also.... looking back, it kinda seems like Hackman was actually snubbed - he was GG nodded and BAFTA where Art wasn't, Art who was never nodded before and his movie wasn't Best Pic nom'd like The Conversation....

I mean, for myself, easily Dickie Attenborough in 10 Rillington Place.
But if I have to pick one of these guys, Hackman.

as brilliant as Hackman is, I can't hate too hard on the '74 snub because that year was jam-packed with all-timers. McDowell was better and his year was weaker.

and Cazale's Dog Day Afternoon snub was worse than his Godfather II snub.

A whole lot of them!!
Sheen, McDowell and Hackman are the most obvious imo.

sticking by my choice but no conversation about 70s snubs would be complete without Captain Quint!

Missed this one, but the top two would have been top two, just in the opposite order.
Others I would add or Mr. Wilder as Willy Wonka and Mr Curry as Frank N. Furter.
