Awesome. I really think that Johnson is a damn rock star when the material is good and the filmmakers are talented so I'm very excited about this.

My favorite female filmmaker. Also -- trades don't know how to google? It's apparently a romantic-comedy co-written by Jeannie Berlin and playwright Mark Hampton.

I guess retirement these days is slang for extended vacation.
Glad to have her back. Hopefully she can dredge some charisma out of Dakota Johnson.

Wow. This is exciting. I only recently saw A New Leaf and The Heartbreak Kid and loved both. I thought she would never direct another film.

Wow She's still alive, damn 86! After Nora ephron, I don't know who else female directors who could make great romcom. Nora passed years ago..i think about 7 or 8 now.

Dakota Johnson asked on the Madame Web press tour if this is still happening:
“We are trying to get that done. It’s so hard to get any movies made ever, at all, but I’m producing it and Elaine will direct it and I’ll star in it, and we’re working on casting.”
