Per Wikipedia’s definition, Twin films are films with the same or very similar plot, produced or released at the same time by two different film studios. Which do you prefer?

I don't "get" Dr. Strangelove. I understand that it is meant to be funny, I understand the gags... but nothing about it is actually funny.
Fail-Safe is a brilliant suspense movie though.

I agree to a certain point. It has many amusing scenes and lines, but you could have made more out of that material.
I like the way Fail-Safe is told much more.

Where's the previous result? The previous polls are mainly on the front page and I don't have votes recorded, but I do have winners if you're curious:
#1 Tombstone vs Wyatt Earp #2 Saving Private Ryan vs The Thin Red Line #3 The Raid vs Dredd #4 Dante’s Peak vs Volcano #5 Capote vs Infamous #6 Red Eye vs Flightplan #7 Antz vs A Bug’s Life #8 The Prestige vs The Illusionist

Damn, this is tough as both are among my favorite of that decade, but gotta give the edge to Dr. Strangelove which just adding that extra satirical tone and Peter Sellers' wonderful performance(s) carries it to a different level for me.

Fail-Safe is damn good. But does it have Slim fuckin' Pickens riding a nuke? Nope.
