Great for Downtown Abbey, Rambo seems okay, also alright for Ad Astra, that's better then First Man, although that 80m budget means it'll have a lot to make up for, plus audience reception seems quite negative.

I expected something more from Ad Astra. Rambo did fine.

The numbers for Downton Abbey are blowing my mind,a possible $33M OW.Wow.People really love that show huh?. Apparently. I knew it was popular, but it's really that mainstream. It's kinda crazy. It should also make Focus a pretty penny, given that the budget is relatively low (it's in the high teens), since (although I can't 100% confirm this), it looks like they reused a lot of costumes and sets from the show.

Great for Downton Abbey, I could see it potentially legging out to 95m, especially given its older audience. Also decent for Rambo, and a good drop for Hustlers. Ad Astra's opening weekend looks okay, but given its 80m price-tag, I'm not sure it'll recoup its budget. deadline.com/2019/09/downton-abbey-rambo-last-blood-ad-astra-hustlers-weekend-box-office-1202739525/THUMB RANK FILM DIS. Great for Downton Abbey, fine for Rambo, and okay for Ad Astra. Everything else that wasn't The Goldfinch had solid drops, too. After months of "meh numbers", the box office is back to being eventful again. deadline.com/2019/09/downton-abbey-rambo-last-blood-ad-astra-hustlers-weekend-box-office-1202739525/THUMB RANK PIC DIS SCRS(CG) FRI SAT SUN 3-DAY TOTAL WK 1 Downton Abbey Focus 3,079 $13.8M $9.6M $7.6M $31M $31M 1 2 Ad Astra Fox/Dis 3,460 $7.1M $7.3M $4.7M $19.2M $19.2M 1 3 Rambo: Last Blood Mill/LG 3,618 $7.1M $6.9M $4.9M $19M $19M 1 4 It Chapter Two NL/WB 4,156 (-414) $4.8M $7.8M $4.7M $17.2M (-57%) $179.1M 3 5 Hustlers STX 3,525 (+275) $5.4M $7M $4.6K $17M (-49%) $62.6M 2 6 Lion King Dis 1,978 (-387) $597K $1.2M $697K $2.57M (-30%) $537.6M 10 7 Good Boys Uni 2,025 (-711) $730K $1.1M $630K $2.5M (-41%) $77.3M 6 8 Angel Has Fallen Mill/LG 2,505 (-571) $658K $1M $649K $2.4M (-47%) $64.7M 5 9 Overcomer Sony 1,818 (-475) $405K $645K $450K $1.5M (-45%) $31.6M 5 10 Hobbs & Shaw Uni 1,391 (-659) $360K $700K $400K $1.46M (-48%) $170.6M 8

Jesus, if a Downton Abbey movie can do that well imagine what kind of numbers the Breaking Bad movie would do if it had a wide theatrical release.

I love the show Downton but I don't know if I wanna pay for what looks like an extended Christmas special. I'm glad it did well though.
