Okay, either we’re in for something major with Hugh Jackman’s performance in Bad Education, or all of these critics have seriously just forgotten all about Logan...

The Playlist review of The Goldfinch is absolutely brutal. The first sentence reads "At the risk of putting too fine a point on it,Ansel Elgort cannot really act". I hope they could have the guts to say the same about Brad Pitt in every role he gets. But Ansel needs to be stopped and I hope this is it for him.

First Harriet responses are lukewarm, which is not good for a film needing to build off of festival hype. Erivo is getting raves, but this may be a one-nomination film at best. Not surprised given the underwhelming trailer. I’m starting to struggle finding strong contenders this year, especially in Supporting Actress. I guess Monae is criminally underused.

Hustlers is STX though. Is this their sudden foray into awards season?

Hustlers is STX though. Is this their sudden foray into awards season? I don't know if they'll spend any money on the movie, but I know J. Lo will use her own money to campaign if STX can't do it or only does so sparingly. I thought it was funny but also really desperate when Melissa Leo did that "Consider" campaign, but I hope J. Lo goes all out and does something like that.

Hustlers is STX though. Is this their sudden foray into awards season? Maybe. STX had Molly's Game two years ago and this looks really similar and is actually getting better reviews so far. At the very least it's earned a spot in the conversation.

Looks like the actual reviews for Harriet are decent, better than the initiall tweets suggested. Also, reviews for Jojo Rabbit are picking up a bit.

Looks like you waiting in line to see Joker in a few weeks. Same should apply to you since Bobby DeNiro is in it! Although he appears to get catastrophically blown off the screen by the Wockster....🤫
