Didn't know I needed Reznor/Ross to do a Pixar score until right now.

Pixar hasn't made a movie better than passable for over a decade, but I'm cautiously excited about this. Seems like they're getting some... interesting talent.

Oh, and if J.K. Simmons isn't tapped to play the school principal or something, they'll be missing a grand opportunity.

Looks damn great. I hope that both 2020 Pixar films are amazing.

As the board's signature Pixar hater, I found this trailer to be reasonably compelling before it jumps off a cliff and becomes every other mediocre Pixar movie of the last decade. We already have the buddy-movie setup, the same bland Pixar look, the same predictable Pixar humor.
It's a teaser. It could get better. I'm not counting on that, but it is possible.

I’m still trying to figure out *the joke* to make about this title. Something about Disney literally selling Pixar’s soul. I don’t know. I’ll have it cracked by the time the movie comes out, I promise.

Looked really great until it just became "two unlikely people meet up away from a destination and they have to get along to get to the end of the road that they'll realize they don't need and the journey was the real adventure............"

looks kinda basic and derivative of Coco and Inside Out but it's still gonna be better than the Monsters Inc./Bright road movie.

I'm just dropping this here for those who think Pixar's animation is bland.

Also, where were you when The Lion King remake released? the people who do the work on this are ridiculously underpaid and the people who will reap the profits neither deserve it nor need more. torrent it. idk what this means, you should torrent that too lol

Then people should not pay to watch any animated film because every major animation company pays nearly the same average salary to their animators. Especially anime, where severe underpayment is a huge problem, at least 2-3x bigger than in America.

I don't live in America so I don't have a proper grasp about salary problems of the animation industry. Not like animation films aren't made here in India, but they're few and far in between and animation is mostly restricted to kids' shows and niche releases. There are problems here as well, but they pop up only occasionally.
