Yeah, I get some Newsroom vibes. And I like it. The Newsroom was a massive failed experiment. Aaron Sorkin brought his own politics into the show and tried to speak truth to power but chickened out because the White House was run by a Democrat. |

That final episode was amazing.Jennifer Aniston is coming for that Emmy.This was easily one of the best shows of the year.

I did not know, Aniston had balls, for acting. I need to keep up, with her work, I guess.
I would say, the show got stronger, on its second half.

Really loved the first season. So enjoyable in all its melodrama, and I couldn't stop watching. Must have done something right if I felt that way. Can't wait for the next season!

I just started watching season 1 a couple days ago. Messy and melodramatic but also highly entertaining and addictive. Love/hate most of the perfs which border on histronic at times. Carell isn't good, Aniston and Witherspoon are both good and bad, but Crudup and Duplass I'm becoming obsessed with. Dialogue is fast and playfully cynical like a McKay script but actually funny and not condescending. Feels halfway inspired by Ianucci (Veep especially) which is the nicest thing I can say about anything.

Season 3 started yesterday. Anybody watching this? I will be viewing this when I have time. Loved the MeToo narrative of season 1 but didn't care much for S2 outside the performances (awful finale). Billy Crudup is dynamite throughout and I loved Greta Lee in S2 and looking forward to seeing more. Cautiously optimistic about S3 especially with Jon Hamm's addition to the main cast but have no idea what to expect about the plot because the first and second seasons were so different. Will definitely check it out at some point. |

So far so good for The Morning Show Season 3. The first episode was pure setup. Nothing really happened. Hamm looks like he plays a Musk like figure. Second episode went down a quite a fascinating path.
