Cage. Lovecraft. Richard Stanley. A match made in horror heaven.

I am not familiar with Steve Annis work but that is a beautiful shot. Time to watch I Am Mother.

I'm not a real Lovecraft fan so I think I'm gonna skip this.

Was this poster made in photoshop? Was that screenshot made in photoshop? They just look strangely amateurish.

Has anyone seen the previous adaptations Die Monster Die ('65) or The Curse ('87) - ?
Anyway, can't wait, especially as it's horror and Cage somehow lacks a great straight horror in his filmography. Unless you wanna count Vampire's Kiss. I mean Pay the Ghost? Wicker Man? Mom and Dad? Is that it...? They're awful, except for that sawzall moment ("saws....allll") from Mom and Dad.
Even though I didn't like Mandy, I do dig Cage's new design to pull more appeal with the "midnight crowds" - you can tell he loved that Mandy response and is feeding off it.

I'm definitely not ready for this collab. Lovecraft and Cage, what an odd pairing.

Lovecraft characters almost always get driven insane. My question is can Cage act not insane for long enough to sell the transition?

Richard Stanley finally gets a worthy feature film project, for the first time in FOREVER...nice. Looking forward to this.

Let's also not forget Q'orianka Kilcher y'all, she gifted us with one of the best performances of all-time in The New World

I don't like what I saw. Then again, I didn't expect anything better...

Not feeling it.
Also, not sure if intentional or not, but "The color, the color" trying to be reminiscent of "the horror, the horror" was cringe.

It's another crap meme-able Cage vehicle. Stanley must have been desperate to make a film... any film. It's my least favourite of 2019.
