The Big Lebowski (Joel Coen, 1998) Inherent Vice (Paul Thomas Anderson, 2014) Once Upon A Time... in Hollywood (Quentin Tarantino, 2019)
For me, it's:
1. PTA 2. Coens 3. Tarantino

1. Inherent Vice 2. The Big Lebowski 3. Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood
Tough one ... but this feels pretty definitive, for now. Inherent Vice, like all of PTA’s last four, is all-time great for me, one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen and still is on every rewatch. Lebowski is something I feel that I love a bit less with each passing year ... I don’t know that it’s top-tier Coens for me anymore, and it’s lost that obsessive rewatchability factor for me in recent years, but like IV it’s still one of my favorite comedies and a movie I can’t deny loving. OUATIH ... well we’ll see how it ages ... I’m a big fan and becoming a bigger fan with each day. But I need to see it again.

Lebowski is pretty good, but nowhere near my favorite from the Coens and a little too randomly/childishly mean-spirited in places for my taste. IV is a near perfect adaptation (rewatching it after reading the book, it's actually nuts how well PTA pulled it off) of my least favorite Pynchon, which makes it a fine film but not anything amazing. Hollywood totally floored me in a way that I never in a million years would've expected Tarantino to be capable of, and is up there with the very best of the decade.

The Big Lebowski is one of my most re watchable & quotable comedies I've ever came across (seriously its a comedic masterpiece all around imo) , so it wins easily.
IV had its moments thru out.
Once Upon a Time was such low tier Tarantino, I honestly wouldn't care to revisit it ever again. Such a letdown.
The Big Lebowski 10/10
Inherent Vice 7/10
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood 5.5/10

The Big Lebowski 10 (hands down one of the greatest comedies of all time; #4 in my Coens ranking) Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood 9.5 (seen it four times and love it more with each viewing; probably #4 in Tarantino's filmography for me) Inherent Vice 5.5 (to me this is easily PTA's weakest and a very odd misfire for such a consummate filmmaker)
