Definitely one of the most underrated minds of the sci-fi genre... and would make it somewhere on my list of favorites. He doesn't get nearly the credit, but his films are lowkey great - flying under the radar.
1. Dark City - Possibly the best film of the year. Such a twisted universe. It feels like comic book galore but I'd say it's more like Ghost in the Shell than The Dark Knight or Sin City. 9
2. The Crow - Gothic. Tragedy on a organ piece. Maybe top 5 of 1994, but probably comes slightly short. 8
3. Knowing - Fun movie. Cage always excels in films with a backdrop of panic. He's the best at leading disaster films. 7.5
4. I, Robot - Fun summer blockbuster. Could almost use a sequel, but I guess we haven't heard about it by now. 7
Only movie I haven't seen is Gods of Eypgt, but the reviews are pretty bad.

Dark City I, Robot The Crow Knowing Gods of Egypt
Can be a great director and storyteller (visually at least) when he wants to be.

I, Robot features Will Smith at the peak of his movie star charisma and is a lot of fun. Gods of Egypt is, well, not.

Dark City The Crow Knowing I, Robot
Sometime down the road I'll watch Gods of Egypt. I still wonder why his Paradise Lost project was scrapped. Was really looking forward to that one.
