For the most part the sub is full of idiots who never actually watched a game and recite stats that need a masters degree to decipher (but only if it's in their argument's favor)... but sometimes you get some comedy gold:

There won't be a season...
Take the average IQ then drop it by 20 points and those are the people we're telling to be cautious about Covid. Hell, we can't even prevent millionaires from holding up an unlicensed poker game up! Or beating their wives/girlfriends! Or drinking and driving! Or even hosting parties at the fucking height of covid!
Yeah, my fantasy league... which has been done for about 15 years now... all agreed that we're not doing it this year.

I know locally the high school and OSU are like, "oh yeah we'll most likely have football, don't worry", but I think it's just to keep some people from getting angry. I think they're waiting until the last possible minute to say it's not happening this year because the signs definitely don't look good like recently two of the local schools saying they're going to do virtual learning at least for the first quarter/semester because the threat level is too high in Columbus right now.
Then, OSU just released their plan to only let 20% of the stadium's capacity watch the games which is already on top of out of conference games being canceled. I don't think it takes a rocket scientist or brain surgeon to see they're trying to let people down slowly, but if they're already canceling the Veteran's Day Parade here and other events that are that far out, I'm not sure why some fans still think football is still going to happen even with a reduced capacity and rules against things like tailgating.
I also don't really think it should even without the fans not taking things seriously because I just think that there's no way to keep the players from spreading it because of how much contact is involved with the sport, and it's just unrealistic for the players at the high school level and even at the college level at most colleges to be in a bubble. Even with NBA and NHL and their bubbles, I still think that cases are going to pop up.
