That was an intentional pick 6.
Would be funny if Brady's career ends like this. It feels like such a quiet bow out, and anticlimactic. His last pass is a pick 6? LOL.
I think him coming back for one more year largely depends on if Belichick can make a deal this offseason to obtain a QB that he likes, or something. Not many options available, but I'm thinking Dallas could entertain a Prescott trade to New England. (It's been discussed before by Cowboys fans)

Brady at this point needs to be on a pretty stacked team in order to accomplish anything, and surely none of them will be dumb enough to touch him. Niners trade should happen, get Jimmy G back to where he should have been heir apparent and send the old man home.

Also, McDaniels is surely moving on too unless he wimps out again, so... Nobody wants a brand new offensive coordinator at 42, right?

I doubt Niners are going to entertain a Jimmy G. trade back though. They probably think they have their guy now - coming off a 13-3 season. I agree Brady is done, but I just don't think the Patriots have a better option next year. Jarrett Stidham? Nehhhh. I think most of the other young QBs are locked in to their team. I truly think the only possible options are 1) Alex Smith - won't be a long term answer, but could be good in the short-term if he can get back healthy. 2) Nick Foles - very solid QB, and really it feels like Minshew is the hotter name in Jacksonville right now. 3) Josh Rosen - because Miami might pick Tua and send Rosen packing. 4) Dak Prescott - this one feels like a shot in the dark. Lots of people want to keep investing in Prescott, but he had a semi-disappointing year and he'll be so expensive - some people have said (unreliably maybe) that Cowboys could do better for way cheaper and build slowly from that. He'd be the best option because he's actually pretty decent, but...... be hard to convince half the Cowboys people, but easy to convince some others. *edit, I agree with Fish. I can see Eli too, on a temporary deal.

Would be kind of sad if Brady's last pass is a pick six. I guess I'm don't have the competitive drive he has but if I was Brady I would have retired to spend more quality time with Gisele after any of the late Patriots super bowl wins. You only get so many opportunities to go out on top. Everyone's saying "he can't go out like this" but eventually he's going to be too old and have to retire. The Pats right now have more issues than any time in recent memory so I don't know if they're going to be able to win the SB again in the next couple years if Brady comes back. That was an intentional pick 6. Would be funny if Brady's career ends like this. It feels like such a quiet bow out, and anticlimactic. His last pass being a pick 6? LOL. What the fuck happened to Allen this half? 2017 Jags make a playoff run, collapse under the weight of their bad QB the following year. 2018 Bears make the playoffs, collapse (not as badly as the Jags) under the weight of their bad QB the following year. Next season it’s gonna be the Bills.

Why would the Niners trade him? No reason at all Patriots just clearly should never have let Garoppolo go, and if Brady is going to go anywhere, sending him back where he comes from, to a team that could probably carry him and allow the old bastard to retire in the sunshine would be as fitting a place to go as any.

Poor Brees. Elite QBs just don't win championships.
You can't just say "I have an elite QB, I'll win a Super Bowl." Tis a fact.

Saints have something new to bitch about for the next year... lol. If they reviewed that I would’ve thrown my shoe at the TV.
Happy for the Vikings... even after that dreadful prevent D at the end of regulation that pretty much gift wrapped the field goal.
