Aladdin is doing great if I'm not wrong... It's been in the top ten for two straight months, and is still #6. Not even Endgame lasted that long. It's doing amazing business.

Really good drop for Far From Home. Also Aladdin is making some serious bank, wouldn't surprise me if it finished with 360m. deadline.com/2019/07/spider-man-far-from-home-crawl-stuber-weekend-box-office-1202645451/THUMB RANK PIC DIS SCRS(CG) FRI SAT SUN 3-DAY TOTAL WK 1 Spider-Man: Far From Home Sony 4,634 $13.3M $18.1M $13.8M $45.3M (-51%) $274.5M 2 2 Toy Story 4 Dis 4,210 (-330) $6.2M $8.2M $6.1M $20.7M (-39%) $346.3M 4 3 Crawl Par 3,170 $4.4M $4.3M $3.4M $12M $12M 1 4 Stuber Disney/Fox 3,050 $3M $2.9M $2M $8M $8M 1 5 Yesterday Uni/WT 2,755 (+141) $1.96M $2.8M $2M $6.75M (-33%) $48.3M 3 6 Aladdin Dis 2,557 (-201) $1.7M $2.4M $1.6M $5.8M (-21%) $331.4M 8 7 Annabelle 3 NL/WB 3,209 (-404) $1.7M $2.1M $1.6M $5.55M (-41%) $60.7M 3 8 Midsommar A24 2,707 $1.1M $1.3M $1M $3.55M (-46%) $18.4M 2 9 Secret…Pets 2 Ill/Uni 2,320 (-526) $970K $1.2M $900K $3.1M (-34%) $147.1M 6 10 Men In Black 4 Sony 1,612 (-1,104) $650K $900K $665K $2.2M (-41%) $76.4M 5

Also Endgame is just $7.1 million away from surpassing Avatar.
Whatever it takes.

Yikes that total for Stuber!!! I guess it's not really too much a surprise, but I thought it would do a little better. I should have known something was up though when Gofobo did three early screenings of this in the past month here when they usually just do one screening. Plus on Reddit, I saw many of the reviews were like, "I liked it, but it felt like it was more of a Netflix type of movie." I enjoyed it, of course I got to see it for free, lol, but I liked how they tackled the issue of toxic masculinity. I wouldn't say that they 100% successfully nailed the issue, but I did like that at least they tried to subvert expectations of the usual buddy cop movie. Plus, I liked that I think there was only one significant role that had a Caucasian male in it, and the rest of the roles were filled out by either non Caucasians and/or women.

I just think it was destined to be a "box office loser". I've heard mixed things, but it sounds like the kind of movie that I might enjoy (an action comedy with a lot of actors I like), but I won't rush out of the theater to see. It doesn't help that original buddy cop comedies haven't exactly been lighting the box office on fire, in the past few years either. I could see it accumulating a cult audience though, I do get that sort of weird "quirky vibe" from it.

Also Endgame is just $7.1 million away from surpassing Avatar. Whatever it takes. I think this weekend was it’s last hurdle. I thought if it could get the difference to under ten million, it’ll probably pass the record. Could just barely pass it.

Yes it will break the record. It's a matter of time now.
