Because so many polls we do here seem to be an American vs. a Brit or French actress or something else.
If this were just a US Board I could ask if you were an Anglophile or a Francophile but that's too restrictive. So wherever you're from......what do you like -If it's another culture Greek, Aussie, etc. please contribute in general and of course it could be a mix ..........where does your interests lie.............Explanations encouraged in the thread!
Can enter 2 to cover US films and French food because you can't have 3 choices ............that's anarchy.

Tough. I think every culture can be very intriguing. For example there are many points that fascinate me about Chinese or (even I wasn't there yet ) Japanese culture. When I put the most important ingredients of cultures like Architecture, Literature, Music, Painting and so on together I'd maybe give France a slight advantage over everybody else.

When I was little pacinoyes (really cute, too opinionated) in my local mall every store was sort of designed to make you feel you were anywhere but Bumblefnck, USA - if it was a pizza shop it was "Taste of Sicily!" or something like that .........it was literally funny since that mall couldn't have been more American in commerce or culture or customers..........just a slight change to the names of the stores.

Voted Anglophile because they kind of have everything covered. Literature, rock music, interesting history, probably the second best movie producing country behind US, and I'm probably the only one on the planet outside of Britain who likes their food.
The Russians deserve an HM when you look at their huge influence in film, literature, classical music, and just the general history of the world. The Italians also have the best food in the world and are probably my fourth favorite film country behind US, UK, and Russia/USSR.

I mean i'm pretty satisfied with our diverse and rich culture but I'm that person who doesn't care about traditions and all that. I like living life to the fullest and best possible way and what other option you have than America (guns frighten me though). Not gonna lie, i always wanted to migrate to US and lead a stable career and enjoy a life full of freedom but I'm not financially strong to go to US and spend a hefty lot on education and lifestyle and i can be occasionally sentimental towards my family and country. So it's this thing held me back.
I'm pretty interested in British history too but they colonized us and we suffered for 200 years and i can't take that away from my head. It's not on my mind always but when i think of British in positive way this thing comes into my mind and takes that positivity away.

I think I prefer the British. I feel I have much more in common with them as a European and I respect their culture and history. Plus, I know the language But as for food, I prefer Greek cuisine (obviously), Italian pasta, American meat and french fries. Actually, I prefer almost all kinds of food so I can't vote based on that
