So long since I watched this that I just went with my gut here as who stood out most in my memory.

Looking at the result for the leftovers. I'm six episodes into Season 2 and my ranking would be:
1 Ann Dowd
2 Christopher Eccleston
3 Emily Meade
4 Amy Brenneman
5 Carrie Coon
So I guess I'm mostly falling into a pattern with the board.

never got around to this show. Is it as good as its reputation? It has peaks (phenomenal) and troughs (though never terrible), but it is a mostly steady ship. |

First two seasons are peerless, gets more inconsistent after that with some highs and lows as Johnny said, certainly a fair amount of iffy stuff in the later seasons but it never gets bad. And the final stretch of episodes is one of the best ever. It’s pretty unbeatable family drama, the ensemble and the characters are kinda perfect ... overall I’d put it among my favorite HBO series. |
