Not a huge fan of these films personally but Glory ends great and has its moments and Easy Rider has an all-time great Nicholson scene and is a crucial film, so I may try to catch them. 50th anniversary for Easy Rider and 30 for Glory - not sure how this works outside the US but Fathom Events usually does a good job getting these into theaters etc. - I try to catch 1 or 2 a year. www.fathomevents.com/events/tcm2019-glory-30th-anniversary-1989

I feel like they missed a trick in re-releasing Glory during the school year.

Bah! I really like Glory, but I actively dislike Easy Rider.

I've seen Alien on the big screen this year already, and you can bet your ass I'm gonna see it again.
The other two have been absolute musts to see on the big screen that I've not yet managed to accomplish. Especially Lawrence of Arabia. But I've not seen the Godfather films in ages and have been waiting for the right time to rewatch them -- this sounds like the perfect excuse.

I'm not a fan of Easy Rider. In fact, I don't like it at all. The one scene Jack has is memorable, so is Fonda's performance. Other than that, I don't get why so highly acclaimed.

Saw a Godfather I/II double bill five-ish years ago... was life-changing. Lawrence of Arabia is probably... what... top 5 on a list of movies that demand to be seen on the big screen? Can't wait... Gotta make it to Alien too... my father talks about seeing it in 1979 like it was truly one of the GOAT theater experiences. New cut of Apocalypse Now in theaters in August too... what a time to be alive. Just missing The Wild Bunch for its 50th.

That's the reason I will never see some classics in cinemas... I live in Europe.
