My father hates Robert Pattinson and thinks he ruins every movie he's in. He can't explain why. It's just a natural aversion to the guy, going all the way back to Goblet of Fire. He has been incredibly frustrated by Pattinson's current success. The funniest part? He's a big Bond fan. This will be hilarious if that happens.

between growing up with the Daniel Craig Bond and my new obsession with an Elba Bond that will never happen, I NEED all future Bonds to be at least 40 (Craig was 38 when he filmed Casino Royale and he also just naturally looks gristled and like he's seen a lot of shit). I hate the idea of a young Bond. Bond is a daddy. He needs to be a sexy middle-aged Clooney-esque ladykiller with a British accent and I won't accept anything less.

It's not like he's casting him or anything. it comes from a director who would direct the future Bond, so... So? His Bond would still have Daniel Craig in it. It's not like he revealed his plans to recast the character. I'm not bashing you, I'm just surprised this made headlines. |

I have the same thing with Robert Downey Jr. I honestly cannot stand the guy, and I know he's a good actor and stuff, but his mere involvement in a film I want to watch puts an immediate dampener on it. I can't explain why. |
