The problem here for me is the push and neck grab.
If you are an activist / protester and you are going to do something like this, then you will probably be expecting to be forcibly lead out of the room, it's par for the course. This Mark Field lad could almost certainly have gotten the lady out of the room by the arm/s alone, and in a much less aggressive manner. He handled the situation pretty terribly.

It seems the lady herself (Janet Barker) is not going to officially complain to the police, but they could still charge him if they wanted. He's been suspended from his ministerial position while an investigation takes place, but you know what these investigations are like. I'd be surprised if he wasn't back to work once the fuss dies down.

Oh honeys, the problem here for me is her hair... it's kind of dull and shapeless and in desperate need of some serious styling, maybe even a light perm and some highlights to give it life. I'm not surprised she gets thrown out of parties. He looked so angry as if to say, 'come back when you've had a makeover'.
The woman in black was more stylish and I loved the way she gave her a shove.
There really should be higher standards about who they let into these award shows. It just lets us all down.

First of all, I don't think dragging people out of the room could be his job... I mean, there should be security / police doing this. But after the episode with the protester throwing shoes at George W Bush, you can never know. Anyway, grabbing her arm was more than enough.
But I wonder if people would react so negatively if the grabbed protester were a man.
