I'm sorry, honey. Having to be this beautiful and drink so much Cristal can be exhausting. I will scream and throw something at my assistant so she deletes it....

Oh honey, it's OK. It has just been pointed out to me that this thread is a remake of the Oct 2018 version...
Can someone fill my glass please.

A Star is Born is kinda like 3D in that it seems to be given a whirl every generation.
It's interesting that the poll from eight months ago was lead convincingly by the 2018 version, but it is lagging way behind the 1954 version in this one. This is why it's such a relief that we do the AMARAs late in the year. It gives us all time to get some perspective.

I think all of these are really good, minus the Streisand version, which is just okay for me. "Shallow" is probably my favorite song of all the movies, Garland is probably my favorite actress of the four but GaGa was great too, and Bradley Cooper was my favorite actor. Currently leaning toward the 2018 film but I think all of them have their merits.

I'm not a huge fan of any of these, the 2018 is probably my choice. If only the second part of the film was at least half as good a the first it would be an easy choice. Still it has things to like, Cooper has never been better and Gaga singing parts were great.
