Wes Craven cameo in John Carpenter's very good "Gas Station" segment from the kinda underrated Body Bags (1993) which was meant to be the pilot for a Showtime anthology series but unfortunately didn't get picked up, which means we didn't get to have more of Carpenter's hilarious pun-heavy host who happens to be undead. "Gas Station" is set in the fictional Illinois town of the original Halloween, follows the first night shift for a new gas station employee and the seedy male characters that lurk around and bother her; with a black lead which is rare for horror pre-millennium. Could've easily been opened up to feature length....

This reminded me of that bonkers movie 11:14. Has anyone else seen it? There's also the horror movie Splinter (2008).
