I always have mixed feelings on lists - like first my brain doesn't work that way so it's a nightmare to me to try to force my mind into that mold. Like our "Greatest Actor of All-Time" poll on here almost killed me - US actors vs. UK actors vs. Non-English speaking actors AND all from different eras? Wtf !! I do like quirky or odd lists that give me ideas though (like Tim Burton!)..........then I always question if anyone has a really depressing film (imo) on a "favorite" list. Rosario Dawson (Killer of Sheep) and Gary Oldman (Ratcatcher) knock yourselves out - Killer of Sheep in particular is a great film, but I'm not re-watching it, so it's not a fave by any means......... and on some level I doubt that it really is a "favorite" for Dawson and Oldman tbh.

This is my favorite batch - understandable, great picks , probably impacted him at a young age.

Crazy to think Hill's worked with two of the five (or, rather, three of the six) directors here, and I could definitely see him work with PTA or Wes Anderson in the future.

Yea I can see him for a while only taking smaller roles for top directors, seems dead set on furthering his directing career. Surprised he didn't bid for the Richard Jewell gig....

In general mostly mundane selection, but some interesting unconventional ones that have been mentioned.
Think my favorite list on here has got to be Joel McHale's:
Dr. Strangelove Blade Runner Monty Python and the Holy Grail Children of Men Ikiru
