Some stuff related to the Arts for me - Olivier's insane work ethic is inspirational, no one comes close to that, it almost isn't fathomable.
Alex Chilton who did something no one else ever did - started his career very famous and successful, then became cultish and obscure but is remembered for the work he did while cultish and obscure NOT famous and successful - I love that, it never happens (almost never, Scott Walker would be another but I like Chilton more ).
On a different note, people who have survived, endured, like Sharon Stone had a stroke at like 43 maybe (?), was literally dead on the table, couldn't remember scripts for a year, couldn't walk or talk has triumphed and if you didn't know that story you'd think she had the easiest life with everything that goes along with it.......

Having rewatched Gorillas in the Mist recently, I really must refer Dian Fossey and all of those who have the courage to stand up and fight against injustice in order to defend those that can't be heard: gorillas in this case, and animals in general. These are some of the people that inspire me the most. We need more like them.
