Like Rocketman could be the next Bohemian Rhapsody, I guess, but I don't see it winning Best Picture.
I don't have a lot of faith in Cats, but I expect that if it did actually win, there would be a lot of unhappy people.
I think that if 1917 won, it might be in a similar position although not as hated, just because in a year where Scorsese could win Best Picture again or Tarantino could win his first, having Sam Mendes get it a second time might cause some backlash in certain circles.
Probably Joker. I don't think it will win, but I could see the possible outcries of Todd Phillips being nominated for DGA and maybe Best Director like Peter Farrelly this past year. Plus, if it actually won over The Irishman, I would guess that there would be a lot of film fans up in arms over that.
Also Little Women. I know there's a lot of fans of Ronan and Gerwig, but if it's just a competently made remake but not much better than the other versions, I think there would be backlash. I don't think it will win though, but if it did.
