Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson? Oh f*ck, wrong again!! English is not my native language and when I try to think fast and type fast, Imake mistakes. What I meant was, unknown auteurs, unknown film makers: director and writer (the author of the book etc.) Sorry... I know Taika Waititi hasn't broken through yet at the Oscars, but I feel he's the type that could. He seems very likable, and he's very much in demand right now. His likable quality is partly why I'm predicting Jojo Rabbit because it does seem like something that could have a lot of backlash if it's not handled just right, but with Waititi being popular on social media and being the one to play Hitler, I think that will counteract most of the backlash if there is any significant backlash.

The Lighthouse
Edit: nah, I'm gonna go with a safer choice: The Woman in the Window

At this stage a safe but obvious choice like A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood seems fitting.
It would also enable them to reward female film making again.
