Eh, only one really egregious winner (Avatar), but few of these are actually my top pick. But overall, better than 2010.
Good presentation, pendragon.

you had me until those lead winners. Farahani is really solid but there are at least five women there who were better and Rockwell was the worst of his bunch. Delbonnel over Richardson was pretty odd since Inglourious is some of Bob's best work and the movie pretty much swept tonight, but I guess if Potter had to win at some point it should be for The Half-Blood Prince.
as for the rest of these picks, they're predictable as hell but that's mostly because Waltz, Mo'Nique, Tarantino's directing/screenplay, Hurt Locker's sound, In the Loops screenplay, etc. are on another goddamn level. All expected, all 100% deserved, but I do hope Capaldi was second place.

- Wonderful to see Half-Blood Prince cinematography. Well done MAR - Surprised that Fantastic Mr. Fox won production design. - Sam Rockwell won best actor? - Oh boy Ryan's campaigning worked huh? Farahani was good but she didn't deserve to win. - Great set of winners except for those acting leads. Well done pendragon

Completely forgot to vote again here. Just for a heads up next time, would it be possible to shoot me a PM to remind me to vote in Round II if I happened to do so in Round I? Thanks!
Anyway, since this is also the first time I'm getting a look at the nominations, they're not too bad! 2009 was a great year, and there are a few films missing that I would have loved to make it: Adventureland, Away We Go, The Secret in Their Eyes, Everyone Else, The Vicious Kind, Pontypool, and more An Education (so surprised "You've Got Me Wrapped Around Your Little Finger" didn't even get nominated in song as back in '09 with our ICCs it was all the craze!), but these are all still pretty great.
For once, I even agree with just about all of the Tarantino love here. Basterds is by far my favorite of his films and think even Pitt is a deserving nominee in Supp. Actor (he makes my personal top five). So I can't even be upset that it just about dominated here. Only major nominee I haven't seen is About Elly and I'm also super surprised it even placed at all (just considering a lot of the picks tend to be very predictable or at least tend to have a lack of foreign options, so it makes me proud!).
Thanks again for doing this!
