Fun fact: From the 7 ballots counted thus far, only one performance has been mentioned on all of them, from a film whose ensemble is also the only one mentioned on every ballot so far (except for one that didn't include the category). And no, it's not the performance and film that you're probably thinking it is... (And this performance is also listed on all three of the uncounted submitted ballots.) Well, I'm shall remain delusional and assume it's Maxine Peake in Funny Cow...as I will hold out hope that this somehow happens until the very moment you guys announce the nominees and the crushing disappointment hits me like a brick in the face.
Of course, I'd me okay with it being Cynthia Erivo or Lewis Pullman.

I'm fine with my current lineup, but I still need to see Shoplifters at the very least. I'll try to submit my final lineup within five days.

my computer's been giving me shit the last couple weeks. Even had to have it repaired at one point and that stalled my viewing, but I'll submit my ballot in time I promise. I only have a couple things left to see.

Just have Birds of Passage and Long Day's Journey Into Night left, so I guess I'm saving the best for last. The plan is to vote tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. And just a last-minute reminder to the other procrastinators who haven't voted yet to show up for Justin Hurwitz's gorgeous and haunting First Man score. You know it's the best thing ever. You know you want to put it at #1.

Caught Everybody Knows and The Mule. All I have left is Disobedience and Cold War (can’t believe that slipped my mind).
After that, I’ll be ready to send in my ballot.

Y'all watched Funny Cow yet? If you haven't and you voted already, your submission is hereby null and void.

Is his earlier work any good? I've only seen Birds and Embrace and my interest is sufficiently piqued.

Something tells me that this is the film whose complete absence from the nominees turns me into a petulant child, dismissing the whole thing as worthless. I'm not proud of it, but it's who I am .
Seriously though, all joking aside, I don't have high hopes for it getting in anywhere. It should be breezing to an original song win, and I don't think it'll even be nominated.

Jesus Christ I have only three days left and I won't be able to watch this many recommended films. What am I supposed to do?

I gave up and voted two weeks ago when I'd seen almost 120 films from last year, but I have no doubt that when the nominees come I'll still be unseen on about 10 or perhaps even more of them. I'll use the nominees I haven't seen as my final push to close out 2018. Honestly, there are just too many films to ever feel like you've seen enough, so at some point you have to call it a day.

I still can manage 4-5 more films, but not any more than that.

Watched Disobedience last night, and all I have left is Cold War. But depending on how my day goes, I may not be able to catch it in time.
So if I have to skip it, forgive me. I’m sure it’ll have plenty of support.
