An unexpected but totally worthy choice, right?

I was pleased for sure, then she read out the winner and now my associations of Julia Roberts standing on the Oscar stage are forever tainted.

Yes. She's always been an actress I've always loathed up until her excellent turn in Homecoming a few months ago and thought she was an anticlimatic choice for the BP presenter but I thought she did extremely well, one of the best presenters of the night. Exceeded humble, happy and relaxed energy.
Too bad she had to read out that wretched winner.

She looked great in the pink dress.

Julia Roberts was certainly worthy of presenting Best Picture. And she was the first female by herself to do so in a lot of years.

I would've rather seen Streisand do it, because it would've been hilarious to see her try and pretend to be excited for Green Book even though she's tight with Spike.

I was being sarcastic.

Definitely better than her presenting Best Actor to Denzel back in 2002 : " MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE..." Thank God she wasn't that obnoxious this time !

How dare you Julia!!! Now I might have to root for you come Emmy time.

She was a wrong choice to present best picture! I mean she was great and charismatic on stage but hate to see her reading green book as BP, very shocking! a film that has no connection with her at all! Someone like Morgan freeman, jack nicholson or Mel Gibson (I thought he would be presenter ) or any older actors would be suitable! How would the Academy be able to align the presenter with what is going to win Best Picture??? That doesn't make any sense. Nicholson has already presented BP many times. Freeman did it when Spotlight. Gibson is no longer important enough in Hollywood.
It's been years since they had a female by herself presenting.

Nothing against her. She was OK. Very few people should present this Award, and she is one of them.-

And she was the first female by herself to do so in a lot of years. Wow yeah just looked that up and Babs was the last woman to go solo for Dances With Wolves. That was overdue, pretty much took as long as Julia Roberts has been a movie star lol.
