lol, poor Bradley he should have pulled a Showgirls on his rival.
I found this pretty funny too.
Finally I learned that Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck is 6'9" after a few people elsewhere were wondering if he was standing on something, or if he's really that tall.

Olivia Colman didn't appear again Colman doesn't strike me as interested in the Oscar game. She'll probably be there on Oscar night to be polite, but she's said before (years ago) that she'd rather be spending time with her family at home.

Nor did Emma Stone and Adam Driver. Stupid Driver, It's his first Oscar nom! Stone already had it twice so that would be fine! I read that he's still filming Star Wars: Episode IX. I know that some of the supporting actors have already finished filming (Richard E. Grant, Anthony Daniels, Dominic Monaghan), but John Boyega tweeted out last week that he's still filming despite most of the other actors being done. So speculation is that Driver, Boyega, and Daisy Ridley will be the last ones done. Speaking of which, Anthony Daniels tweeted today that something related to Episode IX is coming, so many on social media think that the title might be released tomorrow because Bob Iger has a conference call for investors, and he's released new information before like last time he announced that there would be a Disney+ show featuring Diego Luna's character from Rogue One. He also announced the title for Rogue One there. too,

It's about having the common courtesy and respect to show up for an event in which your peers have recognized you for.
She can be with her family any time. She was also a no-show at SAG, Critics Choice.
That's why she'll never be Meryl Streep.

The question that begs to be asked is "why would anyone want to be Meryl Streep?" I honestly don't see why anyone has to appear at an awards banquet or show unless they want to. If I knew that somebody was just showing me the courtesy of showing up instead of actually wanting to be there, I wouldn't want them to come. But maybe that's just me.

She's also working, as is Adam Driver. They can take time off for the biggies like the actual awards, but as for luncheons, they may not have the clearance to do so.

lol Lee did applauded Peter but he stopped quickly, fucking provocateur! I doubt it meant anything. Even if he is in the middle of the awards game, Spike Lee would not express disdain that subtly.

My point about Meryl Streep - look at how many times she's been nominated, and she always shows up - even if she doesn't win. Unless you have a legitimate excuse, it's just selfish not too. If anything, show up to support your film, celebrate your peers.

Besides jobs, families, and also a significant number of the nominees, if not most, lives far away from LA.

We've also seen people skip the luncheon and still wind up winning (Mo'Nique, Mark Rylance). If you're working, people tend to respect that.

Yet the majority of nominees makes an effort to attend. It's glaring with Colman since she also skipped SAG, Critics Choice. Whereas someone like Driver was there.
