Or maybe more accurately: Second biggest lock after Cauron winning cinematography to make this thread more interesting.
I would probably say Shallow winning song.

"Shallow." All of these other contenders seem to have at least one potential threat, but Best Original Song feels about as locked as you can get.

I guess it's Shallow which will make me the happiest too because I'm happy for Anthony Rossomando a co-writer who was the "fill in" American guitarist for the great British band The Libertines. He never could officially join that band, he merely filled in for Pete Doherty when drugs knocked him out of the lineup.
People wouldn't even speak his name - he was "the American". The "American" filled in for Pete.......then when Carl Barat formed his new band, it was "the American is in them too". He did a great and thankless job for a long time.
Everyone else to me is an industry pro and most of the things I liked are by artists who've already won anyway - Cuaron and Ali etc. but for Rossomando well, it really is A Star Is Born and a great story.

'Shallow' for Song. Then 'Roma' for Foreign Film. Then 'Roma' for Cinematography.

As sure as I am about Roma and Cuarón, Shallow is the biggest lock. With Roma and Cuarón, I guess you could make an argument that Green Book or Blackkklansman could win which I think is complete horseshit, but you could say that. With Shallow, there isn't really any other scenario in which other song wins BOS.

Roma for Best Foreign Language Film on the basis that it's the only one up for both Best Foreign Language Film AND Best Picture. Something else winning would make absolutely no sense.

Cuaron for directing and cinematography. Roma for best foreign film. Shallow for best song.
